He led the University of North Carolina to a National championship, and was voted "Rookie of the Year" for the Chicago Bulls in 1985. He has led the league in scoring 8 times and was voted to the All-Star game for 12 appearances. He also led his team to win 6 NBA championships and 1 gold medal in the Olympics. Michael Jordan is a phenomenal athlete to say the least; but to label this man as just a basketball player, would be a serious under statement. Michael Jordan is a modern day businessman. He has a recognizable smile that will light up a room and a charismatic personality to follow. These are the qualities that make someone worth devoting some attention to, and believing in. Companies like Gatorade, Hanes, Nike, and Ball Park Franks were able to recognize this from the beginning. Michael Jordan has made a fortune endorsing products for numerous companies.
